MODIFIED STREET

WEIGHT
A. 2800LBS. All Cars that come from factory with larger valves than 1.94 and 1.50 MUST CARRY 50 EXTRA POUNDS
Cars that run 602 crate motor weigh 2650LBS.
B. All cars must have specific weight posted on top right side of roof.
C Must weigh as posted at any time.
D. All weight must be bolted on.
E. Track reserves the right to adjust weights in interest of competition should it deem necessary.
BODY
A. Stock appearing, except quarter panels and fenders which may be cut for tire clearance.
B. Five Star or Performance bodies, steel or aluminum are permitted. Aluminum or steel bodies must have rounded sides. No FLAT sides.
C. Fire-wall must be in front of driver's compartment
D. Floor pan must extend to behind the driver's seat
E. 6.5 in. spoiler with 3 braces 14 in. at base frame.
F. Rear Bumper Cover not required (may be left open)

FRAME
A. Must be stock, square, or round tubing may be used behind rear axle for repairs.
B. Weight jackets, spring buckets allowed.
C. Frame or frame rails may be replaced from snout(must be a stock automotive Camaro type snout) to the rear of car with a minimum of 2" X 3" material, and must be .095-wall thickness.
D. WARNING: Technical Inspector must approve all cars with replaced frame or frame rails. Remember this is not late model or sportsman, so don't build a late model or sportsmen chassis to race this division!!!!

SUSPENSION
A. Tubular upper control arms and mounting brackets permitted. Arms must bolt on.
B. Aftermarket bushings permitted.
C. No coil overs.
D. Factory steering box.Rack & Pinion Allowed with 50LB.Penalty
E. Safety spindles and hubs permitted.
F. Outer tie rod ends may be rod ends and any tie rod sleeves permitted.
G. Solid mount upper link on a three point set-up may use rod ends.
H. Solid panhard bar with rod ends permitted.
I. Racing shocks permitted.
J. No tubular lower A arms.

ROLL CAGE
A. A minimum of three door bars must be used on left side, two on right side, and both must extend into door panels.
B. Seat must be fastened to cage or frame.
C. Bars must be minimum 1.5 in O.D. and .083 thickness.

SAFETY
A. Must have 3" shoulder harness and seat belt, attached to roll cage.
B. Must have approved fire extinguisher.
C. Must have fuel cell mounted with two 2" metal straps.
D. Aluminum seat Manditory
E. seat belts must meet S.F.I specifications
FUEL CELL
A. An approved fuel cell, 32-gallon max. Recommended .20 gauge metal box, supported by a minimum of two 2" straps by 1/8 inch thick.
RACING GAS AVAILABLE AT RACE TRACK

REAR END
A. Spool or welded rear O.K.
B. Quick Change Permitted Must have steel axle tube, No Magnesium or sprint center section.

TIRES & WHEELS
A. Hoosier spec 21, spec 1350, spec 55, spec 1600
B. Steel wheels only 12" max
C. Wide 5 wheels permitted on front and on rear with adapters.

BRAKES
A. Four wheel disc brakes permitted.
B. Dual master cylinders permitted.
C. Brake adjusters permitted.
D. Single piston steel calipers ( use standard class weight)
E. Aftermarket brake caliper permitted (100lb weight penalty)
ENGINE SET BACK
A. Front most forward spark plug must be in line with or in front of top ball joint(NO TOLERANCE).
B. Must have original engine cross member in original position. No additional mounting brackets allowed.
C. Drive train must be in centerline of car.

ENGINE BLOCK
A. Iron block only.
B. Maximum bore, Chevy, Ford, and Chrysler 4.060.
C. Stock main caps.
D. Deburring block permitted.
E. May surface block.
F. Stock size lifter for engine: Chevy .840, Ford .875, Chrysler .901.
G. Piston may not exceed top of block.

CRANK
A. OEM cast or steel, stock for engine.
B. No lightening crank.
C. Engine may be balanced.

RODS
A. Stock steel rods. OEM design only.
B. No sportsman rods.
C. No polishing.
D. High performance rod bolts O.K.

TIMING CHAIN ONLY- no belt or gear drive.

PISTONS
A. Any flat top pistons. No dome pistons.

CAM
A. Any hydraulic or solid lift can only.
B. No roller or mushroom cam.

LIFTERS
A. Any stock size hydraulic or solid.
B. Anti pump O.K.

HEADS
A. OEM standard production cast iron heads only. All heads must have readable casting numbers.
B. Chevrolet straight plug heads only.
C. Chevrolet Vortec casting heads #10239906 & 12558062 are permitted..
D. World Products steel replacement heads casting #I-052 permitted.
E. Any ratio of roller rocker arms are permitted.
F. Maximum size for Chevrolet, intake-1.940, exhaust-1.500.
G. Ford and Chrysler angle plug standard production cast iron heads permitted.
H. No Bow Tie, W2, or Ford SVO heads.
I. Steel valves only, no titanium.
J. May surface heads (no cc limit).
K. Valve stem diameter 11/32 minimum for all engines.
L. Maximum size for Ford and Chrysler (Consult Tech Inspector).
M. Under cut stems and any type of guides are permitted.
N. Screw in studs and guide plates permitted.
O. No deburring intake, port matching or exhaust runners.
P. No pedestal mount rocker arms or after market shafts allowed on Chevrolet.
Q. No stud girdles allowed.
R. No Shaft mounted rockers. only on engines that come OEM
S. No blending valve job to casting.
T. Racing valve job permitted, machine cuts only.
U. Any valve springs and keepers permitted.
v. Steel retainers required.
W. If standard production head came with shaft or pedestal mount rockers they will be allowed.
X. Water pump must be cast or aluminum only.
Y. Racing oil pan or windage tray permitted. Wet sump oil pump only.
Z. Mechanical fuel pump only.

FLYWHEEL
A. Steel flywheel only.

CLUTCH
A. Standard stock type disc and pressure plate.
B. No multi-disc allowed.
C. 10" minimum clutch diameter.

DISTRIBUTOR
A. Factory HEI or single point distributor.(OEM Replacement OK) No Billet Replacements
B. Advance kit permitted.
C. No ignition booster.
D. No dry cell battery pack to ignition.
E. No alternator.
F. After-market coil and module will be allowed as long as they are stock appearing and mount in stock location with no modifications.

INTAKE
A. Any single four barrel intake.
B. Any size carb spacer

CARBURETOR
A. One (1) Four Barrel Carburetor.
No Dominators. or predators


EXHAUST
A. Headers O.K.
No turn down pipes allowed
Track approved mufflers must be used

TRANSMISSION
A. Standard production 3 or 4 speed.
B. No Bert type.
C. Must have reverse.

PROTEST FEES
A. One Head -- $350.00 (2 valves will be pulled.)
B. Oil Pan -- $300.00
C. Flywheel & Clutch -- $250.00
D. Any item not listed in protest fees is considered a visual protest item and must be protested before race and not after.
