Casey Roberts is always hard to beat when he rolls through the pit gate at Tri-County Race Track and tonight was no exception, as he emerged victorious in the annual 'Independence Day Championship' for the Super Late Models! Casey pocketed the $3,000 payday in the 40-lap headliner by besting Shawn Chastain, Cody King, David Payne, and Ronnie Payne. In addition, Matt Henderson (Limited Late Model), Adam Smith (Crate Late Model), Greg Suddereth (Modified Street), Bo Allison (Street Stock), Justin Woodard (Pony), and Chris Hedden (602) all celebrated victories in their respective classes. Tri-County Race Track played host to the annual Modified Street Summer Shootout tonight and Bobby Elkins emerged victorious to pocket the $800 winner's check! Bobby drove his #44 machine to victory lane by besting Kenny Taylor, Booger Brooks, Brad Thomas, and John Howard. In addition, David Payne (Super Late Model), Charlie Parker (Limited Late Model), Drew Deaver (Crate Late Model), Michael Brook (Street Stock), and Justin Woodard (Pony) all celebrated victories in their respective classes. Jamie Perry Lifted to United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) Series Victor at Tri-County Race Track
The United Crate Racing Alliance 'Crate Late Model Championship' was held tonight at Tri-County Race Track for the third time and Ringgold, Georgia's Jamie Perry added his name to the winners sheet at the conclusion of the $2,500 to-win event at Ray Cook's facility. Perry's first UCRA victory comes inherited after local racer Jason Deal took the checkered flag leading all 40-laps. Fuel issues disqualified the Copperhill, Tennesseeian handing the victory to the "Cotton's Service Center, Secoa Technology, NiB-One and Mark Heatherly Construction" sponsored Londhorn racer.

The race was slowed by four cautions. Sixth-starting Cory Hedgecock pulled off the track prior to the start of the feature, but returned to start from his original position. He piloted fellow Tennesseeian Matt Henderson's car. | full results

Jonathan Davenport Victorious in SNBS Memorial Day Championship at Tri-County Race Track!
Jonathan Davenport does it again. The Blairsville, Ga. driver pulled off his second-straight victory of the weekend on Monday night May 30th at the Tri-County Race Track by collecting the $4,000 payday in front of another packed house during the Southern Nationals Bonus Series-sanctioned race.

Davenport became the fourth different winner of the season and this was also his third-career series victory. Davenport drove the # 116 normally driven by Randy Weaver to the win in the Outlaw Racing Southeast, Stone Land Clearing and Excavating, Mission Transport, A.F. Stone Professional Medical Service and The Bailey Company-sponsored Cornett Racing Engines-powered Longhorn Chassis. | full story

The rain-postponed Spring Championship took center stage tonight at Tri-County Race Track and a $3,000 winner's check was on the line for the ground pounding Super Late Models. At the end of the night, David Payne was celebrating a $3,000 triumph in the unsanctioned special over Shawn Chastain, Casey Roberts, Austin Smith, and Ashton Winger. Also taking home added money were Jason Deal (Crate Late Model $700), Kenny Taylor (Modified Street $400), Marlin Gunter (Street Stock $300), and Justin Woodard (Pony $300).
